Jack Taylor to join GB4 championship with Fortec Motorsports

Tasmanian Jack Taylor will make his UK racing debut in the GB4 Championship with Fortec Motorsports.

The teenage karter was selected for the Ferrari Driver Academy Asia Pacific and Oceania shootout in Malaysia before taking part in the Indian Formula 4 Championship where he placed eighth in the standings.

He joins Fortec Motorsports, who claimed the inaugural drivers’ title with Briton Nikolas Taylor in 2022 and finished runner-up in the 2023 teams’ standings.

“I’m excited to be competing in the 2024 GB4 Championship with Fortec Motorsports,” said Taylor.

“They’re a good team with a strong history and I know racing with them will really help develop my driving skills for the future.”

“It will be my first time competing in the United Kingdom and I can’t wait to get started.”

The 2024 GB4 Championship begins 29 March at Oulton Park.
