Roberto Merhi inherits victory in S5000 Tasman Series race two after Jordan Boys disqualified

Spaniard Roberto Merhi has moved up to the top step of the podium in race two of the S5000 Tasman Series in Sydney as original winner Jordan Boys failed scrutineering checks.

With Boys disqualified, Merhi takes the race win, with Aaron Cameron and Cooper Webster completing the new podium.

The result leaves the first two rows of the grid for the feature race unchanged, with Tim Macrow to start in pole position ahead of Luis Leeds.
