Stan to broadcast new ARG Speedseries featuring S5000, TCR Australia
Stan Sport will broadcast a new Australian Racing Group event series featuring S5000 and TCR Australia.
The seven-round ARG SpeedSeries will feature six categories: TCR Australia, S5000, GT World Challenge, Trans Am, Touring Car Masters, and the Australian V8 Touring Car Series.
The events, including the Bathurst 6 Hour and the Bathurst International will be broadcast live exclusively by Stan Sport.
The coverage will begin with the new Race Tasmania event, which will also air on the Nine Network.
Highlights of the six other events will also be show on Nine.
"This is a major partnership for the Australian Racing Group, our categories, events and partners that will take us to a new level," said Australian Racing Group CEO Matt Braid.
"This partnership with Stan Sport comes at a time when they are growing rapidly and are becoming the destination for Motorsport viewers in Australia.
"The combined audience reach, engagement and promotional opportunities across Stan Sport and the wider Nine business offers an unrivalled level of coverage our motorsport categories and events have never had before."
"We are looking forward to commencing the partnership with our opening SpeedSeries event, the AWC Race Tasmania in February."
The SpeedSeries coverage will include exclusive coverage of the TCR Australia series, while S5000 and Touring Car Masters races will be split across Stan and existing broadcasters due to conflicting schedules.
The S5000 calendar includes the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, broadcast by Fox Sports and Network 10, as well as multiple Supercars events, broadcast by Fox Sports and the Seven Network.
Stan recently announced exclusive live coverage of IndyCar, the FIA Formula E World Championship, the World Endurance Championship, and the World Rally Championship.
Stan’s add-on sport package is available for $10 a month.
