Felipe Drugovich got away well from pole, while Théo Pourchaire was forced to defend from the fast-starting Doohan into turn one.

It was redemption for Drugovich, who held his nerve to led to the chequered flag after retiring from Saturday's sprint race.

“I’m extremely happy I’ve just won the Monaco feature race – I cannot explain the feeling," said Drugovich.

"It was a tough race yesterday and today we managed to come back."

"I was struggling quite a lot towards the end and Théo was pressuring me a lot, but luckily, I didn’t make any mistakes.”

Behind the leading pair, a three-way battle emerged between Doohan, Jüri Vips and Dennis Hauger.

Amaury Cordeel collided with the wall on lap 19, bringing out the safety car and giving the leaders a chance for a pit stop, with Vips passing Doohan in the pits after a near-perfect stop from Hitech GP.

Doohan chased down Vips on the difficult Monaco circuit, and was unable to regain the position by the flag, crossing the line in fourth.

Fellow Aussie Calan Williams had a stunning opening lap, passing four cars and running in eighth as the race settled in.

He left the door open at the chicane and fell to tenth, but lost out while for the final championship-points paying position, taken out on the final lap by the chasing Ayumu Iwasa.

Trident Team Manager Giacomo Ricci blasted Iwasa, saying Williams "was punted from behind and sent off-track."

Kiwi Marcus Armstrong finished sixth to secure his fourth-place spot in the championship standings, while countryman Liam Lawson had the opposite fortune.

Lawson stalled on the grid from P5 on the formation lap, having to then start the race from pit lane.

He recovered to twelfth by mid-race, but had to retire on lap 37 with ongoing technical issues.

Drugovich holds the lead of the standings on 113 points after his remarkable recent run of victories.

Pourchaire is second on 81 points, with Daruvala on 53 points and Armstrong just behind in fourth on 50 points.

Jack Doohan has progressed to sixth in the standings with his podium in Spain and fast pace in Monaco, with Liam Lawson in eighth and Calan Williams in eighteenth.
