Daniel Ricciardo given COVID all-clear to start Bahrain Grand Prix

McLaren F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo has tested negative to COVID-19 and will clear isolation protocols in time for the Bahrain Grand Prix.

After testing positive for COVID last week, Ricciardo has now returned a number of negative tests and will return in time for the first practice session of the 2022 season.

"Daniel has been feeling better each day as he continued to recover while in isolation following local regulations in Bahrain," read a short statement from the team.
