Daniel Ricciardo tests positive for COVID-19

Daniel Ricciardo will miss the remainder of the F1 pre-season test in Bahrain after testing positive for COVID-19.

Ricciardo missed the first two days of the test while unwell before receiving the positive result.

Under Bahrain's isolation rules the Australian will return in time for next weekend's Grand Prix.

A statement from McLaren said "Daniel is already beginning to feel better, and we wish him well for a quick recovery."

Lando Norris will remain in the MCL36 to complete all three days of the test for McLaren.
