Shae Davies joins expanding Versa squad for S5000 campaign

Shae Davies will join the S5000 Australian Drivers' Championship with the expanding Versa Motorsport team.

Davies will partner Cooper Webster in a second car with the young team for the remainder of the 2022 season.

"I’m very pleased to be joining a new, fresh faced & professional team such as Versa in S5000 this season," Davies said.

"In such a short time they have produced some stellar results and I can’t wait to become a part of the operation & hopefully push the team even further to the front with my teammate, Cooper."

"S5000 is a category I have had my eyes on since it’s inception & the desire to get behind the wheel of one of these weapons has been strong."

Versa Motorsport was founded at the end of the 2021 season, with Webster reaching second on the podium last time out at Symmons Plains.

Davies will contest the 2022 gold star series from Phillip Island onwards.
