Aston Martin have become the first team to unveil their actual 2022 car designed under new Formula One regulations.

Haas and Red Bull have both revealed updated liveries on the 2022 show car, while Aston Martin unveiled the real challenger, dubbed the AMR22, at an event at their Gaydon Headquarters.

The event also served as the launch of their new title sponsor, Aramco, with drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll to race under the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant name.

"I think it is always exciting whenever you have such a big change in the regulations. It is not something that happens often so, as a driver, you always have a bit more curiosity when you come back from the winter break," said Vettel.

"For me, it is year two of a project with big ambition."

"I see that in everything that is happening around me, especially the investment in resources and facilities."

"I feel the responsibility to deliver for everyone here and my motivation is very high."

"I like the look of the new cars and the reasons behind the rule changes all make sense."

"The cars do look quite different and almost futuristic."

"The test in Barcelona will be the real eye-opener."

"I always say that your first day in a new car tells you what kind of year to expect and until then my prediction is a bit pointless."

"What I do know is that our attention has been on 2022 for a long time because new regulations are an opportunity to take a good jump forward."

"But I am sure all teams are thinking the same and we cannot underestimate them."

"So I am keeping my feet on the ground and I think the favourites remain the same."

"I prefer to be realistic rather than making bold predictions.:

"We will soon find out how good our car is and I hope we can have a nice reward for everybody’s hard work over the last twelve months."

"I am really excited for 2022," said Stroll.

"A new season with a new car is one of the best feelings, and I’m looking forward to pre-season testing in Barcelona."

"Nobody really knows where they stand yet, which is exciting for all of us, and especially the fans, but I believe we will be stronger in 2022."
