Winton Formula 3 event cancelled amid growing COVID-19 restrictions

The planned non-championship Australian Formula 3 event at Winton will not take place this weekend due to changing coronavirus restrictions.

The Australian Motor Racing Series round has been cancelled as Victoria's COVID-19 restrictions were enhanced to deal with a growing outbreak.

"A big thank you to all the categories, competitors, officials and spectators who were planning to support the race meeting and we apologise for any inconvenience caused" said organisers.

"Looking forward to hopefully seeing you all trackside soon!"
