The Australian Motor Racing Series (AMRS) has announced their broadcast details for 2020, with a mix of live and post-produced content on SBS and Fox Sports, with live streaming on Kayo Sports and Motorsport.tv.

Formula 3 new broadcast deal

The content will air on SBS as part of SpeedWeek, and on Fox Sports 506. The live stream will be carried by Kayo Sports in Australia, and on international streaming service Motorsport.tv.

AMRS Series Manager Matt Baragwanath said the 2020 broadcast deal “is quite simply an unbeatable bang-for-buck proposition for our competitors, in terms of the opportunity to compete at national events with the exposure of free-to-air television.”

“AVE has a well-earned reputation for producing professional coverage of motorsport events, and for being able to communicate the key storylines of motorsport categories through a combination of on-track footage and feature interviews.

“We can’t wait to work with the AVE team and we’re delighted to have secured this deal – it’s a quantum leap forward for the series.”

Australian Formula 3 category manager Ian Richards said “we are committed to continually increase the exposure of the category both through the Australian Motor Racing Series broadcast platforms as well as our own online presence and social media."

“This new deal through the AMRS is a big step forward for 2020.”
