John Magro sweeps Wakefield to take Australian Formula 3 title

John Magro is the 2019 Australian Formula 3 Champion after winning all 3 races in the series’ Wakefield Park round, extending his winning streak to 15 victories in a row.

Magro took the outright lap record at the circuit as well as extending the record for most consecutive wins in the series.

Josh Buchan was second in all three races, after breaking Magro’s hold on the time trial to take his first ever Australian Formula 3 Pole Position and the All Properties Groups Pole Award.

The final round takes place at Queensland Raceway in 2 weeks on November 1st-3rd.
