The Boy from Barbados went fastest in the final hour of the day, setting a lap of 1:41.501 on the first day of dry running.

The field emerged from the paddock after a wet night on Sunday to dry conditions on Monday morning, with both Rafael Villagómez and Paul Aron testing the limits and spinning in the opening stages.

Indian Kush Maini went fastest in the final five minutes of the morning session for Invicta Racing, setting a lap of 1:44.219 ahead of Enzo Fittipaldi and Victor Martins.

Amaury Cordeel went the furthest distance for Hitceh Pulse-Eight, completing 37 laps to begin day two.

Lap times fell as the sun began to set on the second session, with Isack Hadjar and Jak Crawford trading fastest laps before Enzo Fittipaldi and Dennis Hauger joined the fray.

The fastest lap of the day went to Zane Maloney with around an hour remaining, with his lap unbeaten by the end of the day.

Jak Crawford was second fastest, with Enzo Fittipaldi in third and Hadjar in fourth, completing the most laps so far with 42 tours completed in the evening running.

The FIA Formula 2 field returns for a final day of testing on Tuesday.
