Victor Martins penalised for near-miss with Monaco marshals
Victor Martins was given a drive-through penalty for a dangerous incident during the Formula 2 feature race in Monaco.
Jack Doohan crashed at the entrance to Casino Square on lap 22, with marshals entering the track to extinguish a fire at the rear of his car.
With safety car boards displayed and double-yellow flags being waved, Martins had slowed down slightly but was not in a position to stop when the scene at Casino Square appeared in view.
Onboard vision from his car displayed just how close he was to a marshal at the rear of the car.
Martins was slapped with a drive-through penalty, dropping to eighth in the order for the feature race.
