Supercars driver James Golding announced for S5000 debut
Garry Rogers Motorsport has announced that James Golding will take part in the inaugural round of the S5000 series this weekend at Sandown.
Golding currently drives for Garry Rogers Motorsport in the Supercars Championship, and waited until he could partake in Wednesday’s test to confirm that he felt comfortable in the car before finalising his entry.
Golding’s entry brings the grid to 13 cars, including Rubens Barrichello and Matt Brabham.
The first practice session kicks off at 12.20pm AEST on Friday.
