Supercars 1-2 to take on NZ Grand Prix as Broc Feeney joins Toyota FR Oceania
Will Brown and Broc Feeney will join the grid for the 69th running of the prestigious New Zealand Grand Prix.
Broc Feeney will contest the New Zealand Grand Prix alongside Supercars teammate Will Brown as the Toyota Formula Regional Oceania series continues to surprise for 2025.
Feeney, runner-up in the 2024 Supercars title fight, will make his single-seater debut in the 69th running of the NZ Grand Prix at Highlands International Motorsport Park in February.
The 22-year-old will replace American Josh Pierson for mtec Motorsport, who returns to the states for an IndyNXT test.
"Iām pumped to be coming over for the New Zealand Grand Prix at Highlands,ā said Feeney.
"It will be my first ever race in an open wheeler and I am super excited to challenge myself."
It means the Supercars champion and runner-up will both contest the final race of the Toyota Formula Regional series after Will Brown took on the opening rounds and is due to return at Highlands.
"Having Broc for the prestigious NZGP is exciting," said team boss Bruin Beasley.
"It's going to be a steep learning curve, but I'm sure he will be competitive. Having qualified second and third last year with Callum Hedge and Jacob Abel, I'm confident we can give him the tools to be where he needs to be."
The Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania series returns this weekend at Invercargill before heading to Highlands on 7-9 February for the Grand Prix.
