Stoffel Vandoorne quickest on day two of Formula E Valencia test
Mercedes-EQ driver Stoffel Vandoorne was quickest on day two of the Formula E pre-season test at Valencia ahead of Edoardo Mortara and Jake Dennis.
Nick Cassidy started the morning running with the first representative time, which held for 45 minutes before Sergio Sette Camara took over at the top of the timesheet.
Times began to tumble with Antonio Felix Da Costa setting completing a tour with a time of 1:26.769 as teams then took part in a simulate race session.
With the track slightly warmer in the afternoon, Vandoorne was quickest out of the blocks with a 1:28.739 as the benchmark just three minutes into the second session.
Teammate Nyck De Vries was the first to challenge Vandoorne, before Andre Lotterer and Mitch Evans both threw their hat in the ring.
With just over two and a half hours completed, Vandoorne set the fastest time of the day with a 1:25.045 lap.
Edoarado Mortara was second quickest with Dennis in third.
Drivers will complete a media day on Wednesday before the final two sessions of testing on Thursday.
