Stan adds Formula E to motorsport coverage
Stan Sport has added more motorsport with the addition of the FIA Formula E championship to the streaming service.
Stan has announced a multi-year deal to show the series, with all sixteen races to be available live on Stan Sport with highlights airing for free on the Nine network.
The season begins on January 28 and 29 with the first two races back-to back in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
"Formula E is an excellent addition to our growing Motorsport lineup," said Ben Kimber, Stan Director of Sport.
"With a great variety of racing already on Stan Sport, Formula E showcases the future of the sport in a slick, engaging and seriously fast series our viewers will love."
The Formula E championship joins the growing line-up of motorsport on Stan, including IndyCar, the World Rally Championship, and the World Endurance Championship.
"We are excited to partner with Stan Sport, the new home of Formula E in Australia," said Aarti Dabas, Formula E Chief Media Officer.
"Our passionate fans will be able to enjoy all 16 races live and ad-free along with live coverage of our new knock out duels qualifying format."
"Plus, we’re looking forward to introducing new fans to our sport with highlights of every race airing on free-to-air TV with the Nine Network."
"Australian motorsport fans can look forward to the thrills and drama of electric racing in the heart of iconic world cities in our biggest race calendar yet."
Stan's add-on sport package is available for $10 month on top of an existing Stan subscription.
