MELBOURNE – The 2025 Australian Grand Prix set a record for Saturday attendance with a total crowd of 136,347.

Fans turned out to watch race action from Supercars, Formula 2, and Formula 3, as well as the first qualifying session for the 2025 Formula One season.

The crowd number was more than race day in 2024, which set a new record at 132,106 in attendance.

It has been a bumper year for the Australian Grand Prix, where organisers reconfigured fan areas to allow for more spectators in anticipation of this year's event.

Thursday brought 72,056 through the gates, with Friday taking a huge 125,548 in attendance (another record) for a running total of 333,951 ahead of the grand prix on Sunday.
