Drivers
Sebastian Vettel - Germany
Four-time Formula 1 World Champion and the youngest ever World Champion when he won in 2010. Vettel won the individual ROC in 2015 and teamed up with Michael Schumacher to win the Nations Cup six times.
Valtteri Bottas - Finland
10-time Formula 1 Grand Prix winner and "adopted Aussie" Valtteri Bottas is set to race at "home" in the Race of Champions after pushing pause on his F1 career.
David Coulthard - UK
The Formula 1 legend and 13-time Grand Prix winner is one of the highest-profile drivers in the sport's modern era. He's been part of the Race of Champions for years and won the most recent stadium event in Riyadh in 2018.
Mick Schumacher - Germany
Son of seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher who has forged his own successful single-wheel career. Mick has finished second with Sebastian Vettel in the ROC Nations Cup twice.
Jamie Whincup - Australia
The seven-time Supercars champion and Australian motorsport legend will captain team Australia.
Molly Taylor - Australia
The Aussie rally legend and Extreme E champion joins team Australia. She is the first woman to join the grid for 2025 and just the fourth in history to compete in the event.
Will Brown - Australia
Reigning Supercars champion Will Brown heads to the Race of Champions after appearances in the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania series.
Toby Price - Australia
The Aussie rally legend and two-time Dakar winner will join one of two teams for Australia as the host nation. He's taken five Australian off-road championships, nine Finke Desert race titles across bikes and cars, the 2018 FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship, and a Baja 500 Trophy Truck title.
Louis Sharp - NZ
Kiwi Formula star and the youngest ever Race of Champions entrant, Louis Sharp was the 2023 British F4 champion and GB3 champion last year.
Sebastien Loeb - France
The greatest rally driver of all time, chasing his fifth Race of Champions title. Loeb has nine consecutive World Rally Championships and holds the record for most WRC event wins at 80, most podium victories at 120, and most stage victories at 939.
Johan Kristoffersson - Sweden
The rally legend is a seven-time FIA World Rallycross champion, but that's not it. He also holds two Extreme E titles, three Scandinavian Porsche Carrera Cup titles, and the 2012 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.
Mattias Ekström - Sweden
Four-time Race of Champions champion Mattias Ekström will be on duty to defend his title and go for a record fifth ROC victory.
Travis Pastrana - USA
American motor racing and action sports superstar Travis Pastrana is a 11-time X-Games Gold medallist. He'll be making his 10th Race of Champions appearance when he arrives in Sydney.
Kurt Busch - USA
NASCAR champion Kurt Busch will join Travis Pastrana on Team USA for the Race of Champions. He won the NASCAR Cup in 2004 and has been named as one of the top 75 NASCAR drivers of all time as well as being inducted into the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame.
Petter and Oliver Solberg - Norway
Father and son rally champions Petter and Oliver Solberg will look to defend their ROC Nations Cup title in Sydney as they go for a three-peat. Oliver has been rallying since 15 and recently jumped from Skoda to Toyota in the WRC2. His father Petter claimed the WRC championship in 2003, as well as winning the inaugural FIA World Rallycross Championship in 2014. He went back-to-back the next year and won the teams championship in 2017 and 2018.
Hayden Paddon - NZ
New Zealand's most successful rally driver and the first non-European to be crowned European Rally Champion in 2023, before clinching back-to-back titles in 2024. Paddon will join New Zealand for their first ever entry into the ROC Nations Cup.
