Noah Killion wins AU4 race one in Sydney
The hometown boy took out the AU4 weekend opener in Sydney

SYDNEY–Noah Killion won the opening race of the AU4 weekend in his hometown of Sydney after a duel with rival Isaac McNeill.
The AGI Sport driver started on pole after a long delay to clean the track following another category, and when the lights went out he was soon under pressure from McNeill, with the Volante Rosso driver attempting a move around the outside of turn two on the opening lap.
McNeill maintained the pressure and was soon into the lead, but Killion was able to claw his way back into contention, emerging from a safety car delay with a clear pace advantage.
It was a drag race to the line to begin the final lap, but Killion held his nerve and took a confident lead to the chequered flag ahead of McNeil, with Harrison Duske completing the podium in third.
"The track was terrible!" said Killion.
"It's really slippery, and half the track was covered in oil, so you had to really change your line and be really smooth with the driving, to not scrub the tyres or anything."
"Those last two laps were pretty intense, with Isaac behind me just nose to... whatever it is.. and almost got me around the outside of turn one, but he couldn't make it work."
Jensen Marold continued his dominance of the Gen 1 Mygale category, taking victory over Andrew Fitzpatrick and Koby Wilson.
