Nico Hulkenberg to race in Bahrain for Aston Martin as Sebastian Vettel tests positive to COVID
Nico Hulkenberg will take over driving duties for Aston Martin in the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix as Sebastian Vettel has tested positive to COVID-19.

The Aston Martin F1 team shared the news in a short statement on social media.
The concern for the team will now be any other team members impacted, with Vettel taking part in the pre-season test just a week ago.
Hulkenberg returns to the F1 grid after last driving in 2020 for Racing Point to fill in for Lance Stroll.
UPDATE: Sebastian Vettel has tested positive for COVID-19 and will therefore not be taking part in the 2022 #BahrainGP.
