Dutch driver Dilano Van 'T Hoff killed in Formula Regional Spa crash
Eighteen-year-old Dilano Van ‘T Hoff has died after a crash in a Formula Regional European race at Spa.
The MP Motorsport driver was involved in a multi-car collision in the final stage of the race at the Belgian circuit as the race restarted in wet conditions.
The race was red-flagged, with the championship announcing the Dutch driver’s passing in a short statement.

Van ‘T Hoff was in his second season of the Formula Regional European Championship with team MP Motorsport after winning the 2021 Spanish Formula 4 title.

The 24Hours of Spa, which was hosting the Formula Regional series, has cancelled entertainment ahead of the main event, and will hold a minute’s silence before the start of the race to honour Dilano.
Driver Nikhil Bohra reported that the other drivers involved in the crash were conscious and responsive.
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps had undergone extensive upgrades in the same section of track after the 2019 death of Anthoine Hubert in Formula 2.
