F1TV arrives on Foxtel ahead of Australian Grand Prix

The F1TV app rollout has begun for Foxtel customers ahead of the Australian Grand Prix.

Residential Foxtel subscribers with IQ4 or IQ5 boxes may have noticed the app appearing on their device.

A Foxtel spokesperson told RACEWEEK that the app will be integrated for residential customers this week.

"We can confirm F1TV app integration has commenced on compatible devices ahead of the Australian Grand Prix next weekend.”

“The app will provide an even richer experience for Foxtel customers with access to multiple live in-race feeds, comprehensive live timing data, highlights and exclusive programming on and off the track."

The Foxtel Group entered into a new multi-year rights extension with Formula 1 in 2022, which included plans for F1TV content to be made available to residential customers with the sport package and Kayo Sports subscribers.

F1TV Pro content, including onboard feeds from every car on the grid, will be available to Foxtel subscribers with the sports package from this week.

The Sports HD bundle is currently available for $59/month on a 12-month plan, with select sports including Formula 1 available in 4K Ultra HD.

The package is regularly $74/month.

F1TV content will not be available to Kayo subscribers at launch, with further details expected before the grand prix.
