Wharton competed in the first two rounds for Abu Dhabi Racing by PREMA, winning three of the four races in round two.

The young Australian jumped to the lead of the championship in just his second week of car racing, but left the series to prepare for his Italian Formula 4 campaign.

Wharton now returns for the final two rounds of the UAE season, confirmed when he returned to Dubai to complete a test day with PREMA.

He sits fifth in the championship standings, just 33 points behind current series leader Aiden Neate.

The Formula 4 UAE championship resumes in Dubai this weekend before a final round in Abu Dhabi on 17-20 February.
