Daniel Ricciardo looking for reset after 'disappointing' triple-header

Daniel Ricciardo and McLaren are committed to the battle with Ferrari for third place in the F1 constructors' standings despite a string of disappointing results.

"Coming off the back of an intense but ultimately disappointing triple-header, it’s been good to take some time out of the car and reset for the final two races of the year," said the Australian.

Teams head to the brand new Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, which was only completed in recent weeks.

"We don’t really know what to expect in Jeddah, but we’ve been working hard as a team back in the UK to prepare for the event, and we head to the Middle East ready to fight."

Ferrari has taken the upper hand in the battle for third place in the standings, holding a 39.5 point lead with just two races remaining.

"We’ll be doing our best to bring home some decent points and end the season on a high," said Ricciardo.
