Oscar Piastri "not too disapointed" despite FIA Formula 3 retirement
Oscar Piastri says the effects of Race 2 at Silverstone were “quite even” on the FIA Formula 3 Drivers’ Championship, as he kept his lead despite having to retire from the race.

“Not the best of days,” said the Australian, after his second-place finish in Race 1 put him in ninth for the reverse-grid Race 2.
“I got pushed off a few times at the start of the race so I lost quite a few positions, and then the DRS stuck open so I couldn't see the finish.”
Piastri pulled into the pits on Lap 12 to attempt repairs on his DRS flap, but his Prema Racing mechanics could not fix the mechanical issue.
“It's just unfortunate, it wasn't looking like the best weekend anyway, but I see that compared to the other frontrunners the situation is quite even in terms of luck. “
“I'm not too disappointed as long as next week is okay. Heads up and let's keep working."
The Australian holds the lead on 94 points, ahead of American Logan Sargeant on 77,
