The 2019 Toyota Racing Series champion will mark his second year in the Formula 1 support category, moving to British team Hitech GP.

Lawson was P11 in the 2019 F3 championship with two podium positions. He was seventh in the Fomula 3 World Cup at Macau, runner-up in the Euroformula Open championship, and currently leads the 2020 Toyota Racing Series after two rounds.

Hitech GP finished second in the 2019 F3 constructors championship behind the dominant Prema Racing. They run a team in the F3 Asian Championship, and provide race operations for the W Series and FIA Formula 4 Cup. They were also recently granted a late entry into the 2020 FIA Formula 2 Championship.

Team principal Oliver Oakes said: “We are really pleased to have both Dennis and Liam join us in F3 this year and to continue our partnership with Red Bull for a further season, retaining the trust from them to work with their talented drivers.”

“Their ability behind the wheel has continually impressed us so we’re looking forward to a successful season ahead.”
