Formula 4 SEA

When we last saw Aussie teenager Josh Smith, he was on a high. He had just taken out the fourth round of the Formula 4 South East Asia Championship, with a win and three podium positions. Smith is a contender at the front of the Formula 4 SEA pack, and has shown his improving form throughout the season.

Smith sat out Rounds 5 & 6 of the championship, but will return this weekend at Sepang, where has has form. The Australian earned two pole positions and his debut race victory at the circuit when the series visited earlier this year. He looks set to repeat this, proving his competitive pace in the practice sessions and qualifying second, less than two tenths of a second behind pole-sitter Hadrian David.

With four rounds and sixteen races yet to go, anything is possible.
