Field set as F4 UAE becomes F4 Middle East in 2025

One of the truly global Formula 4 competitions is branching out from its national roots.

The fairly young Formula 4 United Arab Emirates category this year becomes the Formula 4 Middle East championship, reflecting the branding of its parent series which it follows around the Middle East.

The category has today unveiled its grid for the 2025 season, the first under the near branding, headlined by last year's runner-up Kean Nakamura-Berta as well as USF Juniors contender and son of the late Dan Wheldon, Sebastian.

Australian Seth Gilmore will represent the land down under for his fellow Aussies running Evans Grand Prix, while the Qatari QMMF federation returns to the series with three drivers from the Arab state.

The Formula 4 Middle East begins this weekend at Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi, for a double-header opening round that resumes on Wednesday and Thursday next week.
