FIA Formula 3 announces million-Euro prize fund for championship leaders
Drivers will now take home more than a million dollars for winning the FIA Formula 3 series.

LONDON, United Kingdom – Brazilian Rafael Câmara will be the first driver to walk away with a €600,000 prize for winning the FIA Formula 3 championship after the series bolstered driver rewards, effective immediately.
The champion was previously awarded €300,000 (AUD$536,550) by Pirelli, which will now by doubled by the series organisers, taking the total prize to just over AUD$1 million.
“The Formula 3 one-million-euro prize fund is an important initiative that will further incentivise drivers and provide them with a very valuable and well-deserved reward for their success in the championship," said Formula One President and CEO Stefano Domenicali.
"The FIA Formula 3 Championship continues to be a vital part of the pyramid system, which provides the drivers with the essential technical, physical, and mental training to rise through the championships on their journey to the highest level of our sport.
"We all look forward to the 2026 season and watching the incredible talent on track.”
The payments from the promoter, Formula Motorsport Limited, will stretch from first to fifth in the championship, and required the drivers to be racing in FIA Formula 2 for the following season.
The winner will be awarded €300,000, with the prize decreasing by €50,000 for each consecutive position.
