The 2025 FIA Formula 3 season is done and dusted, and the sun is setting on Formula 2, but the action is just beginning in the highly competitive race to get a seat on the Formula One support card.

26 September 2025: Japanese driver Hiyu Yamakoshi joins the grid with Van Amersfoort Racing after seasons in Italian F4 and the Formula European Championship. Théophile Naël joins Campos Racing as the Spanish team's first signing for 2026 after taking three podiums during his rookie campaign.
