F1 Academy driver Hamda Al Qubaisi rings Nasdaq opening bell
Red Bull F1 Academy driver Hamda Al Qubaisi rang the Nasdaq opening bell on Tuesday in New York City.
Al Qubaisi rang the bell and appeared on the big screen in Times Square as part of the Red Bull Academy Program’s partnership with ecommerce platform Rokt.
She was joined by Rokt Chief Commercial Officer Elizabeth Buchanan and Red Bull Racing Director of Partnerships Julia George in the ceremony, marking the team’s partnership and commitment to diversity in Formula 1 and supporting women in STEM.
“Thank you for having me,” said the Red Bull junior driver.
“We’re not just celebrating our partnership, we’re celebrating women in motorsport, and I’m really proud of it.”
