Ayumu Iwasa handed maiden F3 victory as Lorenzo Colombo penalised
Lorenzo Colombo has been stripped of his FIA Formula 3 victory in Hungary, promoting Ayumu Iwasa to his maiden win in the category.
Colombo was found to have driven more than ten car lengths behind the Safety Car while leading the pack, with the stewards issuing a five-second penalty after the race.
The penalty demotes Colombo to seventh, with Olli Caldwell inheriting second place and Logan Sargeant taking his first podium of the season.
American Jak Crawford was also pinged by the officials for his last-lap collision with Ido Cohen, and will cop a five-place grid penalty for race two.
