S5000 champion Aaron Cameron will make his return to open-wheel racing in the Formula Regional Middle East championship.

The series today revealed its entry list for the 2025 season, a competitive grid with drivers to contest what has become one of the must-watch "winter" series during the European off-season.

"First chapter of 2025 will be revealed soon! Something fresh and unexpected…" Cameron hinted on Instagram on Sunday.

McLaren junior driver Ugo Ugochukwu will headline the series for R-ace GP after taking victory in last year's Macau Grand Prix, joined by Euro 4 champion Akshay Bohra, F4 UAE champion Freddie Slater, and F1 Academy star Doriane Pin.

Twenty-four-year-old Cameron will drive for Australian team Evans GP alongside Indian Kai Daryanani, who steps up to Formula Regional after winning the end-of-season F4 UAE Trophy in 2024.

Fellow Aussie Jack Beeton will also make his Formula Regional debut after finishing runner-up in the hugely competitive Italian Formula 4 last year.

The series will begin this week with a two-day test at Yas Marina before round one begins on Friday. It's a double-header opener with racing on Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.
