Record overall crowd for Australian Grand Prix

The 2023 Australian Grand Prix has broken the overall weekend crowd record at Albert Park.

Day four of the grand prix saw 131,124 people pass through the gates according to the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, the second-highest Sunday attendance ever in Melbourne.

The overall crowd over the four days was 444,631, the highest-ever attendance since the Australian leg of the Formula 1 World Championship moved to Melbourne.

This year’s crowd number was over 25,000 more than the previous record set last year.
