Hankook tyre joins Euroformula Open

Hankook Tire will become the official tyre supplier for the Euroformula Open series.

The South Korean company has entered into a technical and commercial partnership with series promoters GT Sport to supply tyres to the single-seater series from 2023.

“We are delighted to start cooperating with Hankook Tire, a key global player in motorsports. I am sure it will play a crucial role in the success of the present and future Euroformula Open,” said Jesus Pareja, CEO of GT Sport.

“The tests conducted so far with the Dallara 320 prove that the performance, reliability and drivability standards of their tires are perfectly in line with the Euroformula requirements.”

The Euroformula Open will become one of more than 50 series supported by the global tyre manufacturer.

Hankook will provide tyres for the 2023 season with an option to extend the agreement in future.
