Dallara simulator sessions added to USF Pro 2000 prize pool

Time in the Dallara USA race simulator will be awarded to the top three finishers of the USF Pro 2000 championship.

Just one of three Dallara simulators in the world, the unit is "the most precise simulator dedicated to professional racing", featuring "a full motion platform with post lifts, movement, vibration, simulated G-force, immersive audio and 180-degree video."

A full day of simulator testing will be added to the USD $664,425 (AUD $962,396) INDY NXT scholarship awarded to the USF Pro 2000 champion, with half-days awarded to second- and third-placed drivers in the championship.

All three are also awarded a drive in a INDY NXT car.

“We have had a great working relationship with Dallara for many years including developing the Dallara IL-15,” said Dan Andersen, Owner and CEO of Andersen Promotions, promoters of USF Pro 2000.

“I have seen the Dallara simulator in action and the amount of accurate, realistic set-up changes that can be made in a short amount of time coupled with the physical aspects and live data will definitely help to accelerate a driver’s learning curve."

"It truly is revolutionary as to what can be accomplished in one day in the simulator versus several days trackside."

"As always, our goal is to train drivers to advance and this is another benefit to our ladder system thanks to Dallara.”

USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires is the top step of the USF Pro Championships and the step below INDY NXT for drivers on the pathway to Indycar and the Indy 500.

The 2023 USF Pro 2000 season begins with Spring Training 27-28 February at Sebring before round one gets underway 3-5 March on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Florida.
