Grid penalties for Juan Manuel Correa and Roy Nissany in F2 Barcelona feature race
Juan Manuel Correa and Roy Nissany have taken grid drops for the Formula 2 feature race in Barcelona.
Correa, Nissany, and Amaury Cordeel were all handed penalties following incidents during the F2 sprint race on Saturday.
Correa was given a three-place grid penalty for contact with Roman Stanek, dropping him from P11 to P14 on the grid on Sunday and promoting Richard Verschoor, Arthur Leclerc, and Kush Maini up the grid.
Roy Nissany was slugged with a five-place grid drop for his collision with Jehan Daruvala after he collected the MP Motorsport driver on the final lap. Nissany drops to P21 on the grid, moving up Ralph Boschung, Roman Stanek, Clément Novalak, Isack Hadjar, and Zane Maloney for the feature race.
Finally, Amaury Cordeel was handed a ten-second time penalty for failing to serve his previous five-second penalty during the sprint race, dropping the Invicta Virtuosi Racing driver from 14th to 17th in the final results.
Ollie Bearman will lead the Formula 2 field from pole for the feature race at 7.25pm on Sunday (AEST).
