Australian Grand Prix sets new Saturday crowd record
The Australian Grand Prix has set a new crowd record for Saturday attendance with 130,806 fans through the gates.
The number is the highest Saturday crowd figure on record at Albert Park,
Formula 1 qualifying was the main drawcard on day three of the event, with sprint races for FIA Formula 2 and Formula 3 on the schedule as well as Supercars and Porsche Carrera Cup races.
Organisers say it is just over one thousand more patrons than the same day in 2023, which recorded 129,748 fans through the gates.
