Apple TV to show new Lewis Hamilton documentary
Apple TV will show a new documentary following the life of Lewis Hamilton.
The tech giant announced that streaming service Apple TV+ has acquired a new documentary about the life and career of the seven-time F1 world champion, with "full access to Hamilton and his team, on and off the track."
The documentary will be produced by Hamilton, Penni Thow, Box to Box Films, and One Community.
Box to Box are known for producing Drive To Survive, the overnight success for F1 which airs on Netflix..
A press release from Apple said "Hamilton has blazed an uncharted trail professionally, socially and culturally, and transformed the sport on a global scale."
"Coming from a working-class family, Lewis succeeded in a sport where the odds were stacked against him but where his talent shone through, allowing him to dominate the sport for over a decade."
"Hamilton is currently the only Black driver to race in the Formula One series."

The Lewis Hamilton documentary joins Apple's slate of non-fiction and sport, including a documentary series about Magic Johnson and the exclusive rights to Friday night Major League Baseball games.
